Malaysians love Thailand, right? And no, I don\u2019t mean the ubiquitous Tom Yam and Thai restaurants in our country. I\u2019m talking about heading over and visiting \u201cThe Land of Smiles\u201d itself.<\/p>\n

Need proof? In 2023 alone, a whopping 4.3 million Malaysian tourists were recorded entering Thailand. It\u2019s estimated that over RM4.6 billion were spent by the tourists.<\/p>\n

And with the increasing popularity of remote working and the digital nomad lifestyle, you might even be considering moving and living in the country. But before you do, PropertyGuru Malaysia<\/a> presents a few things you need to know before moving to Thailand as a Malaysian.<\/p>\n

Capital gains: Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane top the charts in home value growth in Australia<\/b><\/p>\n

In August, home prices rose by 0.22 percent compared to the previous month and are now 6.16 percent higher than a year ago, according to PropTrack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The winter months are usually relatively quiet, but this year demand has been unseasonably high, resulting in more sales than last year.<\/p>\n

The capital cities have experienced the most significant increase in values, with combined year-on-year growth now at 6.49 percent, marking an all-time high.<\/p>\n

Prices in the combined regional areas rose 5.32 percent compared to August 2023, largely driven by robust growth in regional Western Australia and Queensland. Perth and Adelaide topped the list of best-performing capital cities, with Brisbane ranking third, having year-on-year growth reaching 14 percent.<\/p>\n

Vietnam makes efforts to promote responsible AI development<\/b><\/p>\n

Eyeing great opportunities to make full use of artificial intelligence (AI) for promoting economic growth and dealing with social issues, Vietnam is striving to develop and apply AI responsibly.<\/p>\n

Intending to turn AI into an important technology field in Vietnam, in January 2021, the Prime Minister issued the National Strategy on Research, Development and Application of AI until 2030, to make Vietnam a centre for innovation and the development of AI solutions and applications in the ASEAN region by 2030.<\/p>\n

VietnamPlus<\/a> reports that after three years of implementing the strategy, Vietnam has achieved initial results, rising to the 59th position out of 193 countries, and the 5th position out of the 10 ASEAN countries in the Government AI Readiness Index from Oxford Insights in 2023.<\/p>\n
