The editorial team of Property Report by PropertyGuru Magazine has bestowed the title of Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year on Joseph Low, president of Keppel Land (Vietnam).<\/p>\n

The accomplished business leader graced the gala celebration of the 8th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards today with his presence. Low\u2019s win is an auspicious one, coinciding with Keppel Land\u2019s 30th year in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Low leads one of the largest foreign investors in Vietnam and a massive contributor to its urban development. Today, Keppel Land has more than 20 projects in Vietnam with a total registered investment capital of about USD3.5 billion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honoured to receive the PropertyGuru Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year award,\u201d he says. \u201cThis accolade is an affirmation not only of myself, but also of Keppel Land\u2019s achievements in contributing to sustainable urbanisation in Vietnam, and it will spur us on as we deliver on our vision to redefine urban spaces for a sustainable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Low has been guiding the multinational development company towards reaching its full potential. His rise to success runs parallel with the expansion of Keppel Land from a titan in Singapore development to a driving force in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Having been with Keppel for almost 30 years, Low progressed through various roles, from operations to REIT management, before ascending to the presidency. He has provided impetus to Keppel Land\u2019s flagship projects throughout Vietnam since 2014. He has also built on the company\u2019s legacy as a pioneer of grade-A office towers that have helped redefine the country\u2019s urban skylines.<\/p>\n

From Celesta City in HCMC to the company\u2019s ever-expanding presence in Hanoi, Low\u2019s achievements through Keppel Land grow ubiquitous by the year. Keppel Land has grown over the past three decades to offer such high-quality, sustainable residential solutions such as Estella Heights, Celesta Rise, and Empire City.<\/p>\n

A chartered financial analyst with degrees from the University of Hull and the National University of Singapore, Joseph is leading the company to explore areas such as real estate-as-a-service and leverage technologies that sharpen focus on customer-centricity. He has guided the company towards building new growth engines, including a sustainable urban renewal business that enhances brownfield developments. Saigon Sports City, Keppel\u2019s new smart and sustainable integrated township, is just one of many examples of the company\u2019s contributions to environmentally conscious urbanisation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn line with Keppel\u2019s Vision 2030, the Group\u2019s long-term strategy to guide its growth and transformation with sustainability at its core, Keppel Land is advancing its transformation from a traditional real estate developer into an asset-light provider of innovative and sustainable urban space solutions,\u201d explains Low.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will also continue to harness Keppel Group\u2019s diverse capabilities to provide compelling solutions for sustainable urbanisation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to promoting sustainable cities, Keppel Land under Low\u2019s leadership is sharpening its focus on the retail sector, following the success of its shopping hubs Saigon Centre and Estella Place in Ho Chi Minh City.<\/p>\n

Low has also strengthened Keppel Land\u2019s ties with Keppel Capital, establishing the Keppel Vietnam Fund that brings in additional foreign capital and co-investors to help fund projects. The company\u2019s asset-light model is already at work with the recent acquisition of several land plots in Mailand Hanoi City by Keppel Land through the Keppel Vietnam Fund and its co-investor.<\/p>\n

Low\u2019s legacy is also alive and well in the impactful CSR initiatives that the company has established on his watch. With him as leader, Keppel Land makes sure to contribute to communities wherever it operates.<\/p>\n
