Pak Candra Ciputra, the CEO of Ciputra Group and President Director of PT Ciputra Development Tbk, has nabbed the highly anticipated regional title of 2022 PropertyGuru Icon Award at the 17<\/span>th<\/span> edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final held at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This special accolade, granted by the editors of PropertyGuru Group, is the only trophy given to an individual at the gala dinner, yet to garner this title, the individual must have received the respected Real Estate Personality of the Year honour in their respective countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pak Ciputra, who received the said honour in 2015, now holds the great privilege of being the first Indonesian to nab the Icon Award in the 17-year history of the Awards programme.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a legend and icon in his own right, he has received several other awards from other distinguished companies, namely Property & Bank magazine\u2019s CEO of the year from 2010 to 2012, the Golden CEO of the Year in 2013, Property Man of the Year in 2014, as well as CNBC Asia\u2019s Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the 13th Business Leaders Award in 2014. By 2016, IAIR (International Academy for Intercultural Research Research Institution) presented him with the President of the Year for Innovation and Sustainability award.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His immense influence and leadership have also enabled the 40-year-old company to thrive and earn several honours, namely Asiamoney\u2019s most outstanding real estate company from 2019 to 2021, Euromoney\u2019s best providers of real estate products and services in 2020, and Green Property Awards\u2019 Green Energy and Water Management title in 2018.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Among these impressive trophies is a common theme for the Group, which is having ESG and sustainability at its core, particularly having been one of the first few companies in the country to develop sustainable projects from way back in 1984 with their pioneering CitraGarden City Jakarta development. To date, the Group has been consistent in its drive to minimise its carbon footprint by listing 5 projects for green certification in 2021 and setting aside at least 50 percent of total land area for green open spaces moving forward.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
