SasinTipchai\/Shutterstock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The outbreak has affected all industries and all ages around the globe, not only urging employees to work from home, but also prompting students to trade their classrooms for online classes as schools closed down.<\/p>\n<p>Today, students can opt to learn from either online courses or in-person at home.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a 2022 global market report published by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebusinessresearchcompany.com\/report\/online-tutoring-global-market-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Business Research Company<\/span><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online tutoring\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is believed to have expanded from ~USD7 billion last year to USD8.2 billion this year at a CAGR of 16.9 percent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By 2026, the market is projected to reach USD14.8 billion at a CAGR of 15.9 percent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thailand is no exception when learning had to take place in virtual classrooms. These, however, were not always as effective compared to face-to-face classes, and because of growing frustrations and somewhat disjointed learning, there came a strain \u2014 a visible learning gap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiapropertyawards.com\/en\/companies-in-thailand-still-opt-for-hybrid-working-arrangements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>More: Companies in Thailand still opt for hybrid working arrangements<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viona Zhang strived to solve this issue, and therefore, SAIJAI was launched. This online homecare marketplace connects customers to thousands of workers, reported\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thethaiger.com\/guides\/press-room\/schools-in-face-to-face-learning-shifts-to-the-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thaiger<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It offers homecare services beyond tutoring, including home maintenance, as well as elderly and childcare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One-on-one lessons can be arranged at home through SAIJAI. Language, math, science, engineering, art, and several other academic subjects are among the categories included in academic tutoring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe pandemic has seen home life in Thailand alter course\u201d points out Zhang, adding \u201cthere is a return of multi-generational living, chaotic shifting changes in work at home and going to a workplace for busy individuals and families. On-demand services are becoming a key ingredient in the daily lives of Thais.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SAIJAI was co-founded by Bill Barnett of C9 Hotelworks and Michael Kenner of Digital Broker Ventures (DBV). Bill presently serves as the esteemed chairperson of the 2022 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Greater Niseko) judging panel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, General Prawit Wongsuwan, Thailand\u2019s Acting Prime Minister and Chair of the DE Fund Executive Committee, announced the framework for the country\u2019s Digital Economy and Society Development Fund (DE Fund) for 2023. <a href=\"https:\/\/opengovasia.com\/thailand-to-bolster-economy-with-digital-tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OpenGov Asia<\/a> reported that this will be geared toward the improvement of the country\u2019s economic and social development capacity through digital technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This includes innovating and preparing for the students of the digital age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Property Report editors wrote this article.
