Frederick D. Go, president of Robinsons Land Corporation, has been chosen by the editors of\u00a0Property Report<\/em>\u00a0magazine to be the Real Estate Personality of the Year at the fifth annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards 2017, presented by Kohler.<\/p>\n The special award is given to an individual who has left lasting contributions to the country\u2019s dynamic real estate industry.<\/p>\n \u201c<\/strong>I am very grateful and humbled by this prestigious award. It is a recognition of the effort put in over the years of the entire Robinsons Land team,\u201d says Go. \u201cWe have built so many landmark projects that have become integral parts of people’s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n Go has been with Robinsons Land since its infancy as its chief operating officer when the company was established more than half a century ago. Because of his exemplary leadership, he became company president in 2006, overseeing the firm\u2019s overall growth and development of shopping centers, office buildings, residential condominiums and subdivisions as well as hotels and resorts.<\/p>\n Transforming people’s dreams into reality<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWe want to transform people’s dreams into reality through real estate projects that last generations,\u201d he shares. \u201cThe Magnolia complex, the Sapphire Bloc, the Westin hotel and residences, and the Bridgetowne complex are some of our more recent prominent projects. The happiness we bring to the provinces through our Robinsons Malls and Go Hotels are what gives me much satisfaction.\u201d<\/p>\n A graduate of the prestigious Ateneo de Manila University, Go cites his educational background as foundation to his sharp management and business sense.<\/p>\n \u201cI wouldn’t be here today without spending my formative years in Ateneo.
