Governor Arif Mohammed Khan stated during the inauguration of the 11th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) that Kerala is slated to become India’s premium experiential tourism hub.<\/span><\/p>\n

India\u2019s Department of Tourism announced the opening of Kerala during the event, highlighting the state\u2019s pandemic response and preparedness in welcoming visitors. Farm tourism, caravans, adventure packages, and cultural locations were also revealed, all of which integrate Kerala’s natural beauty, rich history, and well-preserved culture. Other activities such as Caravan Tourism, Champions Boat League, and Responsible Tourism were also disclosed, according to <\/span>The New Indian Express<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foreign travel agents at the event said that Kerala has emerged as the top choice for foreign tourists visiting India. Zsolt Jurak, owner of World Travel Master KFT in Hungary, praised Kerala for its traditional values, delicious food, and Ayurveda and wellness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eunsook Park, an official of Withus Tours from South Korea, stated that \u201cNormally, Koreans are interested in pilgrimage tour packages. They choose Kerala and Chennai for pilgrimage packages. Natural beauty makes Kerala an apt place to relax.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The event piqued the curiosity of foreign and domestic buyers interested in Kerala’s caravan tourism, frequently referred to as “Keravan Kerala.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Tourists visiting Kerala will be able to customise their experience with caravan safaris, reported <\/span>The Hindu<\/span><\/a>. This is an excellent way to travel and be close to nature while enjoying India’s amazing scenery.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCaravan Tourism being promoted this time is a pioneering product that will help Kerala go beyond established destinations,\u201d said Kerala Tourism director V R Krishna Teja. \u201cCaravan parks will be developed as private greenfield parks and hybrid resorts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that the Champions Boat League, on the other hand, which will take place from August to December 2022, is another new attraction. It will consist of 12 boat races and will be marketed as the world’s largest team sport taking place on the world’s greenest racetrack.<\/span><\/p>\n
