According to data provided by the Ministry of Tourism, most tourists visit Battambang, Kampot, Koh Kong, Mondulkiri, Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk, Pursat, and Siem Reap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, actress Angelina Jolie was spotted visiting Tuol Tompoung Market in Phnom Penh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">APSARA National Authority (ANA) deputy director-general Long Kosal told <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phnompenhpost.com\/business\/angelina-jolies-visit-invaluable-boon-tourism-insiders-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Phnom Penh Post<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that Jolie\u2019s arrival will help Cambodia\u2019s tourism sector. In addition, Cambodia will be established as a safe destination that has recovered from the Covid-19 crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Cambodia chapter chairman Thourn Sinan told The Post, \u201cAngelina Jolie\u2019s trip to Cambodia I can call free marketing, especially as it has helped Cambodia save millions of dollars from tourism advertising. It will greatly contribute to the promotion of Cambodian tourism to the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prime Minister Hun Sen announced the \u201cClean Cambodia\u201d campaign in preparation for the increasing number of tourists, as well as the upcoming SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiapropertyawards.com\/en\/cambodian-economy-to-grow-4-5-in-2022-and-5-5-in-2023-world-bank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>More: Cambodian economy to grow 4.5% in 2022 and 5.5% in 2023: World Bank<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/asianews.network\/hun-sen-pushes-for-new-normal-to-ramp-up-cambodias-tourism-revival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asia News Network<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> noted that Hun Sen, who is also the honorary chairman of the National Committee for Clean City Evaluations, highlighted the tasks that all concerned parties should prioritise in response to the campaign.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of these efforts, all relevant institutions, subnational administrations, and the private sector are required to maintain tourist safety measures and minimum operating procedures for tourist services, as well as restore public confidence and trust in all production chains within the tourism sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe implementation of this plan is to promote the [tourism] sector aimed at turning Cambodia into a quality, safe, and sustainable tourist destination that will bear fruit to support the recovery of economic growth from the Covid-19 crisis,\u201d shared Hun Sen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Property Report editors wrote this article.
