Recovering from a series of unprecedented events – the COVID-19 virus that originated from China, Hong Kong\u2019s political protests, and Macau\u2019s economic slowdown from closed borders \u2013 the real estate industry of these Chinese territories still endured through the obstacles, enabling them to combat such circumstances and build developments that better the life of the people. We celebrate these brave and outstanding developers at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) 2020 Virtual Gala.<\/p>\n
As of December 2nd, the 2020 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), presented in association with Anjuke, part of leading Chinese online marketplace 58.com, hosted its first online gala to broadcast commendable nominees of the property sector from the three territories. This was the first-ever public participation, where global viewers were able to witness the competition between the creative minds behind numerous exceptional designs and projects, and the crowing of the best of the best in their specific categories.<\/p>\n
On December 9th, our first virtual edition of the event engaged more than 228,000 viewers from all over the world. The live chat feature of the official Awards website enabled developers and consumers to faultlessly connect and congratulate one another.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s gala presented 38 awards, representing a wide range of incredible industry leaders from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau that have battled through these difficult times and aim to help improve people\u2019s quality of life with their dedication in building outstanding residential and commercial developments. Financial Street (Beijing) Real Estate Co., Ltd triumphed the coveted award of Best Developer (Mainland China), while Henderson Land Group reigned this year\u2019s Hong Kong and Macau categories.<\/p>\n
The prestigious real estate awards programme awarded 24 mainland Chinese companies that represented 34 projects across 32 categories this year. The Anjuke Home Furnishing & Decoration Awards were presented for the first this year to mainland China, which included the Best Partner Award for Real Estate Enterprises and Best Professional Home Brand Award that were given to Oceano and Daikin, respectively.<\/p>\n

Three developers, representing seven projects, competed in six competitive categories in the Hong Kong and Macau awards. The winner for Best Co-Living Space, a new category for the regions, was Oootopia Tai Kok Tsui by Everlux Limited & Oootopia Hospitality Management Limited.<\/p>\n
